(Clarksdale, Mississippi) – ¹û¶³´«Ã½app is proud to announce that Dr. Larry Webster, Dean of Career and Technical Education, has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa Distinguished College Administrator Award. This esteemed award recognizes new college administrators who have demonstrated outstanding support for student success.
Dr. Webster was nominated for this award by the highest-achieving students on the ¹û¶³´«Ã½app campus. His nomination is a testament to his unwavering commitment to student success and his dedication both inside and outside the classroom. Students have expressed their appreciation for his efforts in supporting their learning journeys and enhancing their overall college experience.
Dr. Webster will be honored at Phi Theta Kappa’s Annual Convention, to be held from April 3-5, 2025, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. As part of the celebration, he has also been invited to attend the Presidents Luncheon on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. in the 3501 Great Hall.
Following the luncheon, Dr. Webster will receive his award during the Third General Session, taking place from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. This event will be attended by thousands of students, advisors, college presidents, and other distinguished guests.
Adding to the excitement of the event, the guest speaker for the session is Steve Burns, renowned as the original host of the beloved children’s television show Blue’s Clues. His presence promises to make the occasion even more memorable.
